Daystar Television – Bedford, TX

TBC’s installation for Daystar Television Network facility in Bedford, Texas features custom broadcast furniture engineered to support the Production Control Room (PCR) and Media Acquisition and Playout (MAP) areas. The build incorporates our height-adjustable FITT+ and SmartTrac consoles, delivering flexibility and ergonomic performance for demanding broadcast workflows.

A standout element within the PCR is a custom lighting solution developed by TBC. This design features a precision-engineered metal housing with independently controllable lighting at each operator position, mounted above the turret to provide localized illumination. The system enhances visibility without the need for pin lighting or traditional task lamps, all within a clean, fully integrated console design suited to fast-paced production environments.

The worksurfaces utilize our premium cosmic strandz phenolic finish, offering durability and a refined appearance. Completing the installation are our new E5 monitor arms which provide forward-looking adaptability, supporting a wide range of configurations with a load capacity of 5 to 45 pounds per arm.

 

 

HuskerVision facility – Lincoln, NE

TBC Consoles contributed to the renovation of the University of Nebraska’s HuskerVision facility, providing broadcast furniture for the upgraded control rooms. The $12 million overhaul, aimed at modernizing the production space, involved the installation of cutting-edge 4K HDR and SMPTE 2110 IP-based systems. BeckTV led the integration, and TBC Consoles’ specialized furniture was key in outfitting the three control rooms, which now house 34 operator positions and support a variety of broadcast technologies. The upgraded space will facilitate live event productions across multiple athletic venues, enhancing the university’s media operations.

Big Ten Conference Replay Center, Rosemount, IL

TBC is proud to have played a role in the development of the B1G replay center, a space that showcases a high level of technological advancement. With 18 dedicated user terminals staffed by collaborative replay officials, these terminals feature TBC’s linear fixed-height FITT consoles and utilize large-format touchscreens to leverage 10 camera angles to inform decision-making. The desk’s rear Trac incorporates a tally light to alert the replay supervisor for specific calls, which are then patched through directly to the onsite referee for review and final decision-making. Replay supervisors operate from their SmartTrac workstations in the elevated area but can freely roam the room, equipped with everything needed to connect to a specific game’s replay terminal at the push of a button.
