Which Elevon Desk Fits My Needs?
Rectangular
Cut-out
Elevon work surfaces are classified into four standard shapes; rectangular, rectangular with cut-out, convex and concave. Custom shapes are also often used to meet client’s functional and aesthetic requirements. The rectangular version features an uninterrupted work surface. The Cut-out version features a cockpit style work surface. The Convex and Concave are also popular work surface styles. These four work surfaces are available in a standard 60″ (152.4 cm) or our 72″ (182.9 cm) XL size and have shorter manufacturing lead times and typically are more budget friendly.

The amount of wires and power strips will indicate what type of cable management “core” is ideal. Elevon comes with a standard lightweight flip-down or large steel cable management core.

Elevon is a height-adjustable desk with an electric base and weight capacity of over 300 lbs (136 kg) after factoring out the countertop weight.
From home office to sit-stand control centers, Elevon goes beyond the average computer desk.
Home Office
TBC’s Elevon desks are all sit-to-stand with electronic bluetooth-capable paddles and can be outfit with a variety of accessories including two different size cable core, power/data management, and other accessories. The Elevon comes standard in three different shapes and two different sizes. Each console can be accessorized to personal preference with a variety of articulating monitor arms, CPU holders, speaker mounts, task lamps, and other accessories.
Podcast and Edit
The Elevon desk can be ideal for light broadcast or work-at-home applications where minimal equipment can either be located on the work surface or with an adjoining rack. A microphone arm or free standing rack turret can easily be added to the desk in the event that is all that is needed. For a more intensive broadcast environment we would recommend our SmartTrac System which is more robust and designed to handle a variety of broadcast equipment. The rear device ‘Trac’ is generally missing on the Elevon desk but can be embedded into the countertop for mixed-use applications. Cable management core allows for wire separation, data, and power management.
Security
For a light-duty security space such as CCTV monitoring, the Elevon height-adjustable desk could be ideal. The weight-capacity of 300 lbs can easily support a larger monitor with the countertop and recorder. TBC has over 30 years of experience building furniture in control rooms of all sizes.
