TBC selected for Northeast Water Purification Plant in Houston, TX
TBC is selected as the furniture vendor to provide a number of linked SmartTrac Consoles for the utilities control room at Houston’s expanded Northeast Water Purification Plant (NEWPP).
The City of Houston in association with four regional water authorities is expanding the capacity of its water purification plant from 80 million gallons per day (mgd) to 400 million by 2024. As part of the expansion, the Houston Waterworks Team – a joint venture between CDM Smith and Jacobs Engineering – is designing and constructing the new raw water facility, including intake, pumping and conveyance to withdraw raw water from Lake Houston and deliver it about 1.5 miles away to the expanded NEWPP.
The consoles will be the center point for monitoring this new plant with ergonomic and well thought out design specifications met by TBC Consoles.
